Ignition Key Programming (Chip)

⚠️ WARNING: KEY MUST BE CUT Key must be cut by an Automotive Locksmith, Hardware Store, or Dealer prior to using these instructions.

METHOD A: I have 1 Working Key (Add a Spare)

1. Key 1: Insert your existing working key. Turn to ON for 5 seconds.

2. Swap: Turn OFF and remove key. Within 5 seconds, insert the NEW key and turn to ON.

3. Hold: Leave the new key ON for 5 seconds.

4. Finish: Turn key OFF then back to ON. The key is now programmed. Start vehicle to test.

METHOD B: I have 0 Working Keys (All Keys Lost)

1. Start: Insert NEW cut key. Turn to ON (do not start) for 10 minutes and 30 seconds (wait for security light to turn off).

2. Cycle 2: Within 45 seconds, turn OFF then back ON for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.

3. Cycle 3: Within 45 seconds, turn OFF then back ON for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.

4. Finish: Turn key OFF then back to ON. The key is now programmed. Start vehicle to test.
